Past, Present, Hopeful Future
The old days
A close look at Lili's schooling would make most people blink. How many schools from kindergarten through her Senior Year of High School? Too many. Joseph, her domineering father, was a member of the navy (a highly decorated one at that). With his compliant wife, Dana, they moved their three children around. Darrell, eight years Lili's senior, grew up in the same elemtary school. Lili never stayed a school for more than two years. Her younger sister Aliana, managed to stay at the same school throughout her high school career. Aliana is three years younger than Lili.
Though not exactly brutal, as most military fathers are portrayed, Joseph was not idealistically caring either. When he wasn't flying planes for the navy, he was doting on his only son - his one truly brilliant child. Lilith learned quickly that rebelling often gained her attention. Aliana was perpetually quiet. Their home life was confusing, and Dana did little to support or detract from Joseph's regiment.
During the summers Lilith earned her money with various jobs. Though never rich, she scooted by her first year in college on her own. Her dazzling car was a gift from her parents and brother. You see, Darrell quickly became one of those wealthy near-millionares who nestled into Silicon Valley very quickly after finishing his Masters at Stanford University. Lilith rarely sees him.
Joseph has since retired and lives in Florida with Dana and Aliana. Lilith's sister has just graduated High School, and still as meek as they come. She will be attending Rhydin College come September.

Nowadays...
Life is life. Lilith would take whatever curve was thrown at her. Due to her past, Lili has an incredibly hard time opening up to people. She is distant, though she loves being around friends (if she has any). Her decision to switch schools was an easy one. Rhydin seemed never to fit her intellectual pace, and the people were nearly as noncommittal as herself.
Just before transferring to Brighton University, she adopted her little kitty. Legend is a wild cat though and doesn't require too much time. That is probably for the best as Lilith's attention is as fickle as they come.
She has no boyfriend to speak of, nor a best friend. However, Greenlee and Gabbi have endeared themselves to her, as has John. Where these people travel with her is another issue for another day...
The routes of fate
Within the next two or three years Lili hopes to graduate Brighton University with honors. With any luck she'll find the boy of her dreams... though all men seem to be noncommittal. Or maybe she attracts that type because she won't commit to anyone. After college she'll secure some sort of job that requires a ruthless lawyer, and settle into a small home with her three cats.
